Good to know before you buy
These are correctly formed, scannable numbers issued to you alone. A standard retail or POS scanner reads them: it checks the number's structure and its check digit, nothing more. Whether a marketplace or retailer accepts one is that channel's own decision — a small share of platforms and retailers look every number up in the global barcode database and will ask for a registered code instead. Made for the shelf, the till and your own store
Every code is correctly formed with a proper check digit, so it scans on any standard barcode scanner or POS. Whether a marketplace accepts it is that marketplace's decision, and some check numbers against the global barcode database, so check the rules of each channel you sell on.

Marketplaces: ask us first. These numbers are made for the systems you set up yourself: your own shop's till, your billing and stock software, your own online store and your warehouse scanners. Selling on a marketplace is a different pack — tell us where you plan to sell and we will put you on the right one before you buy. We never promise acceptance on any channel, and if a channel refuses a number you bought from us we replace it. The guide tells you when to check first.

Every number we issue is recorded once
Each code is generated once, stamped with your order and marked sold in our ledger. It is never issued to anyone else, and it never expires. If you ever need to confirm that a number came from us, send it to us with your order number and we will check the ledger and reply in writing.

Are these real, valid barcodes?
Yes. Every number is correctly formed with the right check digit, so any standard scanner or POS reads it cleanly. "Valid format" and "registered" are two different things: our codes are valid and scannable, and unique within our own system, but they are not registered to your company in the global barcode database.
Could the same number be sold to someone else?
No. We issue each number once and record it against your order permanently, so a code issued to you is never issued to another of our customers. That promise covers our own records only: our numbers are not registered in the global barcode database, so we cannot guarantee that the same number has not been assigned to another company elsewhere.
How fast is delivery, and what do I get?
When Razorpay confirms your payment, your numbers are issued to your order and appear under "My Barcodes" in your account, normally straight away; some orders need a manual check first. For each number you get an SVG and a PNG image of the bars, plus a list of your numbers, and you can download them again at any time.
Do the codes expire or need renewing?
No. It is a one-time purchase. The codes are yours to keep and reuse in your own systems, with no renewals, subscriptions or annual licence fees.
