PurchaseBarcode is run by RNR Associates, a sole proprietorship based in New Delhi, India. We sell barcode numbers in the EAN-13, UPC-A and ISBN-13 formats, and QR codes, for shops, wholesalers and manufacturers who need numbers for their labels, billing and stock systems. ITF-14 carton codes — free with every EAN-13 you buy from us, made from your own EAN-13 as GS1's rules require.
What we do
Each barcode number we sell is a correctly formed GTIN-format number with a valid check digit, issued to a single customer. We keep a permanent record of every number we issue, so it is never issued to anyone else. You choose your barcode type and how many codes you need, pay through Razorpay, and download images of the bars and a list of your numbers from your account, to use in your POS, billing or inventory software and in your label artwork.
Where our codes work
Our barcodes scan on standard barcode readers, so they work in retail, POS, billing and inventory systems that accept a GTIN-format number. Whether a marketplace or retailer accepts them is that party's decision: some check every code against the GS1 database and accept only GS1-issued codes. We explain this on our product pages, in our "Which barcode do I need?" guide and in our Disclaimer, because we would rather help you choose correctly than sell you the wrong thing.
Our ISBN-13 barcodes are numbers in the book (Bookland 978) format. They are not ISBNs assigned by an ISBN agency; in India, ISBNs are issued free of charge by the Raja Rammohun Roy National Agency for ISBN.

Not affiliated with GS1
PurchaseBarcode is an independent seller. We are not GS1, not a GS1 member organisation, and our numbers are not registered in the GS1 database. If your channel needs a GS1-registered code, we will say so, and you should apply to GS1 India.
